More than 300 people came and more than 50 teams competed at this fundraiser. More than $12,000 has been raised so far this year to increase awareness and to help orphans and vulnerable children in Kenya, Africa.
Dr. Mark Ottenweller, Global AIDS coordinator for HOPE worldwide, spoke to several social studies classes at Ridgefield High School about various needs and problems facing Africa and later that night he thanked JamQuest Hoops and all its supporters for caring about orphans and those less fortunate.
