Jenna Brady from Norfolk, MA organized a 3-on-3 basketball tournament at King Philip Middle School where she teaches! This was Jenna’s first time planning a JamQuest event, and it was one of the best we’ve ever had! The 42 participating teams got to hear about the children in Kenya that need support in education and health, and how getting involved with JamQuest can make a huge impact. The tournament was full of basketball, refreshments and even a flash mob from the drama club! How amazing it is that we can make such an incredible difference for people around the world by simply doing what we love to do? So inspiring to see a school in Massachusetts come together to help send kids to school in Kenya! Kids helping kids! The tournament at King Philip Middle School raised about $1,800 to support Kenyan children; Jenna and all the participants efforts will go a long way to bring children one step closer to ending the cycle of poverty through education!
