Christmas for Orphans and Little Children!

HOPE worldwide reached 13,000 little children this year with their Early Childhood Education Program! Inspiring! Read their year in review below! People all over the world are doing AMAZING things to help kids!

“We want to thank you for supporting the Early Childhood Development (ECD) program in Africa for orphans and little children during 2016. Some of you visited Africa during the Hope Singles Corps in October 2016. Some of you raised money in their local communities in the United States. Some of you played in the Atlanta4Africa Golf Classic in August. Some of you worked on the Superheroes4Orphans 5k Walk/Run at Georgia Tech on October 8, 2016.

There we raised $78,000 for the Early Childhood Development program for orphans and little children in Africa. We have begun to scale up Early Childhood Development in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Botswana and most of the funds will be used in these communities that we serve there. Funds will help with programs and supplies for children, training for caregivers, program development, donor and partner development, staff salaries, and management.

During 2016 we reached 13,000 little children with Early Childhood Development and we are tracking their progress in nutrition, health, education, exercise, and child protection. The impact on the lives of these young children is enormous!

In August we traveled to West Africa where we met 200 community leaders from 50 groups in 20 African countries and many of them asked about ECD there. We hope to train community leaders from these countries in West Africa in ECD early next year with your help. Our goal is to reach 25,000 orphans and little children in Africa with ECD by 2020.

This Christmas will be special for thousands of children because of all your help! Let’s bring Christmas to little children in Africa all year round! Go to http://www.hopewwafrica.org/ to become a monthly giver for the Early Childhood Development Campaign 2017!”
