Montreal Concert Helps Kids!

JamQuest World Changer, Nate Zroh, hosted a concert in Montreal, Canada to raise money for kids in Kenya to go to school! Check out what he said…

“JamQuest Montreal was a pure success ! What was amazing about the event was to see people coming together laughing, dancing, using their talents to bring hope to people they don’t even personally know. We hosted a cocktail/ Show / Dance party at the Montreal Art Intercultural center. We’ve had artists playing different kinds of music from indie/pop-rock to hip hop, we also came up with some drinks for the occasion (Jam Fever, Green Jam & Tropical Jam). I’ve seen people that “don’t dance” show their moves and others teaching me some new dance moves. It was truly beautiful to see friends and family all gathered together to make a difference in other people’s lives.

The reason why I wanted to contribute to JamQuest’s cause became clear during the past summer. I’ve had the chance to Road trip with my dad last summer in my home country (Ivory Coast). We visited the place where he spent most if his childhood. It was my first time going down there. I was exposed to a level of poverty that I’ve had never experienced in my whole life. I realized that I’m beyond bless for the life that my family and I live right now despite the very few opportunities that my dad was blessed with, knowing that he comes from a very poor community. Being exposed to this reality triggered in me the desire to do something. I then asked myself how could I multiply the chances of the people coming from these communities to afford a decent life? I’ve conclude that education is key, and that is precisely what JamQuest does in Kenya! JamQuest brings hope where there is none and change lives through education !

Through our event, we were able to raise 940$ CAD for this amazing cause! I can’t wait for the kids in Kenya to benefit from all the love and funds that were raised for them through JamQuest! Having access to education changed my dad’s life and hopefully will change theirs too!
