OUR STORY
PlayStrong and JamQuest are led by a father and son who have been connected through sports their entire lives. Some of their most meaningful conversations didn’t happen in meetings or classrooms, but while throwing a football in the yard, after games, or sitting in a diner talking through life and sports together. Encouraging notes before games and long talks about character, effort, and faith were just part of growing up.
Over time, sports became more than just something they loved — it became something they wanted to use to make a difference. Steve started PlayStrong, using art and products to encourage and inspire athletes. Nick started JamQuest, using basketball and fundraising to help students in Kenya go to school.
Now they are working together with a shared belief: Sports is one of the greatest opportunities for good.
