“Former NFL and Florida quarterback Tim Tebow’s charitable foundation, appropriately named The Tim Tebow Foundation, has done plenty of good since it opened in 2010, but its efforts spread worldwide over the weekend when Tebow hosted more than 32,000 special needs individuals at 200 prom functions across the globe.

The prom crossed 48 states and eight countries and included 70,000 volunteers, meaning more than 100,000 people were in attendance at the 200 events.

Every guest that attended — each separate prom was held at a church — walked a red carpet while cameras flashed and got the “royal treatment including hair and makeup stations, shoe shining stations, corsages and boutonnieres,” according to the Tim Tebow Foundation website. After karaoke and dancing, every guest — all ages 16 years or older — was crowned either king or queen of their prom.

Those that attended the proms held in Haiti and at various sites in New York got to party with Tebow himself.”
