Garret not only has a passion for baseball but for knitting hats for kids with Cancer. While Garrett does not have cancer himself he has seen the effects of cancer on those around you as his grandfather and cat died unfortunately to the disease. Garrett is also getting his teammates to tag along with him and his cause. He himself is doing more than just knitting and is plaining to volunteer time to go to visit hospitals and young kids. For me that is the part that most gets me is that he not only did this awesome act of service and loved it but Garrett wants to do more and serve more! This is truly inspiring…
