Devin and Jason McCourty are not teammates on the field but off of it they are working together to tackle sickle cell. The NFL twin standouts are tackling a disease close to home for the two of them as this has impacted their close family. While neither of the brothers have the sickle cell disease they both are still very proactive and passionate about this cause. The brothers have set up a 5k walk for the past few years to help raise awareness and money for sickle cell patients and research in the New Jersey area. They have also developed videos and aids to help raise awareness outside of this event.
